Cause-Think software
We love to work with flipcharts, RCA post-its and markers as it stimulates collaboration when working together in the same room. Reporting RCA’s was always done with Excel and Powerpoint. That is still an option...but since innovation and curiosity is in our DNA, we were looking for a smarter, easier solution serving our clients.
Based on our experience (and a slice of frustration 😊) we developed the Cause-Think RCA software in cooperation with our customers providing feedback from the field. The core methodology to visualise logic and relations is CoThink’s Event Mapping.
Event Mapping methodology
CoThink's Event Mapping is a methodology designed to visually organize and evaluate complex problems. Examples. It integrates elements from various problem-solving techniques, including Fault Tree Analysis, Barrier Analysis, and the 5 Whys approach.
By usinig distinct shapes and colors to represent different types of information—such as events, effects, causes, contributing circumstances, and breached barriers—Event Mapping provides a clear and comprehensive overview of a problem situation.
