How is privacy organised within Cause-Think?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the data privacy framework of the European Union. It establishes important rights to the EU citizens and obligations to companies, including the need to demonstrate compliance. The processing of personal data is not a core part of our business, and our activities don’t create risks for the privacy of individuals. Many of the obligations of the GDPR do not apply to Cause- Think. However, we do recognize the relevance of the GDPR as an important achievement for our society. It has been always part of our corporate values to commit ourselves to the prevention of the abuse of personal data and any inappropriate interferences with the privacy of our clients.

How do I export a Root Cause Analysis or Event Map?

You can easily export your Event Map into a PDF. With this option you are sure you can always scale and keep the details

My computer crashed while saving an opened Event Map. Is there an emergency backup?

The benefit of the Cause-Think on-line app is that no data will be lost. All changes are saved continuously

Where is our data stored?

Our data and application is stored in Microsoft Azure services

How often does billing happen?

Billing is every 12 months. Subscriptions are renewed automatically until the user terminates the subscription latest 2 months before end of the 12 months period

Can I import an existing map from another file?

Currently that is not an option, because we want to maintain data-security and integrity at database level

What happens to my data after finishing my license

Your data is stored for 3 months as a “rethink-period” and after that period your data is deleted. We strongly advise to export your data in pdf format to keep your RCA for future learnings

Can we share a license?

You can share a license by sharing email/password but you can’t work together simultaneously. This might cause database errors and lost of data
